I’ve found a few songs that I want to play and want to understand their meanings and context a bit so that I can have something to talk about when I play the songs. A narrated journey through olden day Iran. A documentary film about the life of Tahirih, a woman whose name is synonymous with women’s rights and who was strangled to death by two clergymen. Use them only to give you a rough idea of the meaning of the songs.
